Counter-Strike: Source (kurz CS:S) ist ein Computerspiel aus dem Genre der Online-Taktik-Shooter. Es ist eine Portierung des populären Vorgängers Counter-Strike auf die von Valve entwickelte Source-Grafik-Engine, welche auch in Half-Life 2 zum Einsatz kommt.Dadurch wurde die Spielgrafik deutlich detailreicher und realitätsnäher. Zudem können dank der Verwendung der Havok-Physik-Engine Ereignisse in der Spielwelt wie z. B. umfallende und rollende Fässer oder auch schwingende Seilbahnen und dergleichen realistischer dargestellt werden. Gerade durch den enormen Bekanntheitsgrad dieses Games, darf Counter-Strike:Source in keinem E-Sport Projekt fehlen. Nun hat auch endlich peculiar gaming den Schritt gewagt und ein neues CS:S Team an Land gezogen. Wir freuen uns auf die Zusammenarbeit mit Teamcaptain Claudio 'mrq' Marques, sowie dessen Crew und haben hierzu unter Coverages ein kleines Interview vorbereitet. |
